Sweden: Thomas places third in 110m hurdles

Jamaican sprinter Dwight Thomas placed third in the 110-metre hurdles, clocking in at 13.40 seconds at the Diamond League meet in Stockholm, Sweden this afternoon.



USA claimed both first and second places with Jason Richardson and David Oliver clocking in 13.17 and 13.28 respectively.



Thomas was the only Jamaican to compete in the race, which was dominated by USA athletes.



Usain Bolt Bolt will run the men’s 200 metres which is scheduled to start at 2:45 this afternoon Jamaica time.



The race also includes Bolt’s Jamaican teammates Marvin Anderson and Ainsley Waugh.



Other Jamaicans down to run are Nickiesha Wilson, Melaine Walker and Kaliese Spencer in the women’s 400-metre hurdles and Kenia Sinclair in the women’s 800 metres.
