WICB Under-19 Championship

All matches in the fourth round of the West Indies Cricket Board regional Under-19 Championship in Guyana will begin 30 minutes earlier today because the opening day was rained out.



An inspection at Everest, venue for current leaders Jamaica to face Leeward Islands, took place about half-hour prior to the scheduled tea break before the umpired called off play.



The game at the Demerara Cricket Club, where second-placed Trinidad & Tobago were to play third-placed Barbados was abandoned in the first half-hour after the lunch interval



The contest between hosts and second-placed Guyana and reigning champions Windward Islands at Bourda Oval was also abandoned after the lunch break.



The weather also severely interrupted the last round of matches, but Jamaica and T&T still managed to navigate the bad weather, and play well enough to emerge with full points.
