T&T finish second in WICB Under 19

Trinidad and Tobago finished second to Jamaica in the 2011 WICB Regional Under-19 three-day Championships in Guyana today. They defeated Leeward Islands by an innings and 122 runs early on the final day of their match at Bourda Oval.



Leeward Islands, trailing by 250 runs, were dismissed for 128 after resuming this morning on 106 for seven. Final scores in that game:- Leeward Islands 149 and 128, T&T 399 for six declared.



Over at Everest, Barbados defeated Guyana by an innings 52 runs in their final round game. Final scores in that game, Guyana 87 and 158; Barbados 297 for eight declared.



Jamaica crowned themselves champions yesterday when they crushed Windward Islands by an innings and 77 runs inside two days at the Demerara Cricket Club.
