Hosts Zimbabwe defeated Bangladesh by four wickets in the first One-Day International at the Harare Sports Club today.
Zimbabwe set a victory target of 185 cruised to 186 for four off 41 point 2 overs.
Opener Vusi Sibanda top scored for Zimbabwe with 96. He shared in an 86-run second-wicket stand with Hamilton Masakadza, who scored 41.
Rubel Hossain ended with four wickets for 26.
Earlier, Brian Vitori claimed a five-wicket haul on debut to restrict Bangladesh to 184 off 48 point 4 overs.
Captain Shakib Al Hasan 53 and Mushfigur Rahim 59 scored most runs for Bangladesh.
The second match will take place at the same venue on Sunday.
