Hosts Zimbabwe defeated Bangladesh by four wickets in the first One-Day International at the Harare Sports Club today.
Zimbabwe set a victory target of 185 cruised to 186 for four off 41.2 overs.
Opener Vusi Sibanda top scored for Zimbabwe with 96. He shared in an 86-run second-wicket stand with Hamilton Masakadza, who scored 41.
Rubel Hossain ended with four wickets for 26.
Earlier, Brian Vitori claimed a five-wicket haul on debut to restrict Bangladesh to 184 off 48.4 overs.
Captain Shakib Al Hasan 53 and Mushfigur Rahim 59 scored most runs for Bangladesh.
The second match will take place at the same venue on Sunday.
