Jamaica defeat Windward Islands by 3 wickets

Brian Gayle hit an unbeaten century as Jamaica defeated Windward Islands by three wickets for their first win in the WICB Regional 50-Over Competition in Guyana today.
The victory came in the fourth and penultimate round of the competition at the Demerra Cricket Club.
Windward Islands, opting to bat, were bowled out for 227 off 48.1 overs; and Jamaica replied with 230 for 7. The Jamaicans got to the victory target off the penultimate ball of the innings.
Over at Blairmont, Barbados defeated Guyana by eight wickets in their fourth round match to put one hand on the One-Day title.
With one round left, Barbados remain unbeaten and face their nearest challengers defending champions Trinidad and Tobago in their final round game on Monday.
T&T defeated Leeward Islands by 96 runs at Bourda to remain in contention to retain their title.
