Athletics: Malcolm entertains thoughts of beating Bolt

British sprinter Christian Malcolm believes he can cut down the seemingly unstoppable Jamaican Usain Bolt in Daegu.



The two are likely to meet in the 200 metres, which begins next Thursday and Malcolm says Bolt now appeared more vulnerable than ever before.



Malcolm said Bolt had a fantastic 2008 and 2009 season but his last two seasons haven’t been very good.



However, Malcolm’s resume will not cause Bolt sleepless nights. He enters the World Championships without a major title to his name and at 32, is in the twilight of his career.



He has also never gone below 10 seconds in the 100 metres and never broken the 20-second barrier in the 200 metres.
