West Indies selectors today announced a 14-man squad for the Tri-Nation series in Canada and the International Cricket Council Champions Trophy.

The squad is led by Jamaican Chris Gayle and includes debutants, Guyanese batsman Leon Johnson and Australia-born Jamaican all-rounder Brendan Nash.

Barbadian fast bowler Kemar Roach has been included for his first full tour while Jamaican wicketkeeper Carlton Baugh returns to West Indies colours after almost two years in the wilderness.

All-rounder Dwayne Bravo has not been considered for selection for either tour because of an injury ankle.

Prolific left-hander Shivnarine Chanderpaul has not been included for the Tri-Nation series in Canada but will join the team for the Champions Trophy.

The Tri Nation Series is set for August 16 to 25 in Toronto with the Champions Trophy scheduled for September 12 to 28.

The remaining members of the squad are Ramnaresh Sarwan, Sewnarine Chattergoon, Xavier Marshall, Shawn Findlay, Dave Mohammed, Nikita Miller, Fidel Edwards, Darren Powell and Jerome Taylor.
