Bravo gets half century but Notts facing defeat

Stylish West Indies batsman Darren Bravo stroked a fluent half-century for Nottinghamshire in their English County Championships match against Shiv Chanderpual’s Warwickshire yesterday at Edgbaston.



However, Nottinghamshire are facing a heavy defeat going into today’s fourth day.



The left-hander hit 70 as Nottinghamshire, resuming the day on 86 for one, crashed to 238 in response to Warwickshire’s mammoth first innings total of 574 for seven declared.



Following on, Nottinghamshire tumbled to 136 for six in their second innings at the close, still 200 runs adrift of avoiding an innings defeat.
