Portmore Strikers beat Los Perfectos

Portmore Strikers scored a 5-0 victory over Los Perfectos yesterday at Racing Oval to climb atop the points’ table in the Sherwin Williams-sponsored Women’s Premier League.



As a result of the victory, Portmore Strikers have moved to 49 points, three ahead of reigning champions Barbican, who were idle yesterday.



Santos were also impressive winners. They whipped UWI Women 8-1 at the UWI Bowl to move third place in the standings on 37 points.



The other three games were not played.



Olympic Gardens did not show for their assignment against sixth place Harbour View; while no officials turn up for the other two games.



St Thomas Strikers were scheduled to face Waterhouse at York Oval, while the National Under-17 Women side and Trelawny Women’s were to face off at Waterhouse Stadium.
