Guyana elections set for November 28

President Bharrat Jagdeo has named November 28 as Guyana's Election Day.
President Jagdeo made the announcement in a short proclamation last night.
Jagdeo was expected to orally announce the Election Day at a Peoples Progressive Party Civic campaign rally in Kitty, Greater Georgetown Sunday night.
