Plane crashes in Papau New Guinea

Several people have been confirmed dead after a plane crash off the coastal city in Papua New Guinea.
The Dash-8 plane was carrying 28 passengers and four crew members.
In a statement released to the media, the airline said there appeared to be some survivors but a number of people remained unaccounted.
The air plane operated between Papua New Guinea and Australia.
The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has told the CNN that local authorities reported four survivors, including one pilot from Australia and one pilot from New Zealand.
