LIME sponsors Jamaica Open again

American Ron Schroeder will defend his title at the LIME Jamaica Open Golf tournament, which tees off later this month.



The 2011 tournament will take place at the Half Moon Golf Club in Montego Bay from November 30 to December 3.



This represents LIME’s third consecutive year as title sponsors.



Also down to compete is the 2011 US Senior Open champion, Olin Browne.



Other notable players listed to compete include many-time champion John Bloomfield of Jamaica, three-time PGA tour winner Donnie Hammond and Michael Bennett of the USA.



This year’s tournament will include an 18-hole pro-am and 54-hole stroke play tournament.



Golf professionals from the United States, Canada, Europe, Latin and South America and the Caribbean will compete for the LIME Jamaica Open trophy and a purse of $4.3 million.



The competition tees off with a pro-am tournament on November 30.
