Frome beat St James High

Frome Technical High School defeated St James High 1-0 yesterday for a perfect start in the inter-zone round of the ISSA/Gatorade/Digicel daCosta Cup.
The Group One game was played at Frome Sports Complex in Westmoreland.
Shenardo Cooper scored the lone goal in the first half.
The win makes Frome Technical joint leaders of the four-team group with Cedric Titus, who started their campaign on Wednesday with a 1-0 victory against St Mary High.
24 teams divided into six zones of four teams are contesting the inter-zone round.
The six group winners and the two best second-place finishers will qualify for the quarterfinals.
The inter-zone round continues tomorrow with 12 games.
The second round of the urban area ISSA/Gatorade/Digicel Manning Cup resumes tomorrow with two games in Group K.
