Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt will again take centre stage in the Bird’s Nest Stadium in Beijing, China this morning at 9:20 as he looks to secure an Olympic sprint double in the final of the 200 metres.

Bolt already has the Olympic 100-metre title after storming to victory in a world record time and has looked relaxed en route to today’s final.

Meanwhile, the impressive 400-metre hurdler Melaine Walker will also hunt gold for Jamaica.

Walker has set her sights on not only mining gold, but also erasing the world record when she gets on the track at 9:35.

The world record is 52 point 3-4, set five years ago by Russia’s Yulia Pechonkina.

Other Jamaicans who will be in action this morning are Richard Phillips and Maurice Wignall in the semi-finals of the men’s 110-metre hurdles at 8 o’clock.

Also competing this morning are Veronica Campbell-Brown, Kerron Stewart and Sherone Simpson in the women’s 200-metre semi-finals, which gets off at 8:55.
