St Lucian PM pledges support following tragic accident

St. Lucian Prime Minister Stephenson King has promised government support for the families of the 17 people who died in Thursday’s tragic vehicular accident in the west coast community of Choiseul.



Prime Minister King said all burial expenses would be met by the state; and the families, households and communities affected by the tragedy would receive all the counseling, financial and other necessary support.



Meanwhile, political parties have suspended all campaign activities ahead of the November 28 General Elections.
