STETHS qualify for semi-finals

St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS), became the first qualifier for the semi-finals of the 2011 ISSA/Gatorade/Digicel daCosta Cup.



STETHS advanced following a 3-0 victory over Cedric Titus in their second quarterfinal match yesterday. The game was played at Drax Hall in St Ann.



As a result of the victory, STETHS moved to maximum six points to lead Group One. They are two points ahead of Glenmuir High, who were held to a goalless draw by Frome High at Frome Sports Complex.



In Group Two, the big top-of-the-table clash between champions Rusea’s High and Paul Bogle High ended in a goalless draw. That match was played at Jarrett Park in Montego Bay.



In the other Group Two game, Grange Hill High defeated Petersfield 2-1 to move back into contention for a semi-final spot.
