Campbell Brown retains Olympic gold medal

Jamaica’s sprint Queen Veronica Campbell Brown produced a good run this morning to retain her Olympic gold medal at the Beijing Olympics a short while ago.



Campbell Brown won in a personal best of 21.74 to give Jamaica its 5th gold medal at the games.



She finished ahead of American Allyson Feliz, who clocked a season best of 21.93.



Jamaica’s Kerron Stewart won the bronze medal in 22.00.



The country’s other sprinter Sherone Simpson finished at a disappointing 6th in 22.36.



Double gold medallist and world recorder holder, Usain Bolt was this morning presented his 200-metre gold medal at the games.
