The proposed economic union between Trinidad and Tobago and three Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States countries will be discussed further at a meeting of sub regional leaders in St Lucia today.

Last month Grenada, St Lucia and St Vincent signed a declaration in Port of Spain.

The OECS Secretariat says the countries that are not part of the initiative will be updated on the plans.

They will also discuss their own moves towards an OECS economic union.

The meeting will be chaired by Grenada\'s Prime Minister, Tillman Thomas.
