Russian passenger jet reported missing

A Russian passenger plane with 46 people aboard has gone missing on a demonstration flight in Indonesia.



Reports said the plane disappeared from radar screens during what was meant to be a 30-minute flight from Jakarta.



The plane, which took off about 7 o’clock is believed to have had about four hours' fuel aboard.



The passengers are said to be representatives of Indonesian airlines.



The transport ministry's aviation division, say the aircraft had been on the second of two demonstration flights, and those on board were invited guests.
