Schoolboy football continues

The Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/Digicel schoolboy football competitions continue this afternoon following the opening set of matches at the weekend in Jarrett Park, Montego Bay.



In the Manning Cup competition there will be seven games this afternoon.



In Group ‘B’ defending Walker Cup champions Calabar will open their campaign at home against Ascot, while last season’s beaten semi-finalists, Waterford will host St Mary’s College.



In the other Group ‘B’ game, Donald Quarrie will be at home to Pembroke Hall at Breezy Castle.



In Group ‘E’, Excelsior will meet Greater Portmore.



Over in Group ‘A’, Campion will take on Tarrant, Tivoli and Norman Manley will battle at Tinson Pen, while Spanish Town will host Charlie Smith at Prison Oval.



In the daCosta Cup competition there are a total of six games in Zone ‘A’ and Zone ‘K’



In Zone ‘A’, former champions Herbert Morrison will host Maldon, while newcomers Green Pond will play away to Irwin High.



Over in Zone ‘K’, Islington will be at home to Iona, Brimmervale will play away to Tacky, Annotto Bay will host St Mary High and St Mary Technical will travel to Oracabessa.



All matches are scheduled to kick off at 3.30 p.m.
