US election problems

Researchers have predicted that there could be several problems with the elections in the United States on November 4.
They say the setbacks will be due to the record number of people expected to vote combined with an insufficient number of poll workers and an unstable voting system.
Voters have already had long waits in some states like North Carolina and Florida, where early voting is already underway.
The setback reportedly comes despite efforts to improve the system after problems in 2000 and 2004.
Although many states are encouraging people to cast their ballots early or send them in by post, there is still a danger of extra long lines on election day.
