Jamaica/ Puerto Rico face off

Jamaica will attempt to secure their first victory at the 9th Pan American Hockey Federation Junior Men’s Championship in Port of Spain, Trinidad this evening.



The Jamaicans will take on Puerto Rico in a 6 p.m. encounter on today’s final day of preliminary games.



Both teams are pointless after three games.



In other Pool ‘A’ games, second-placed USA and third-placed Trinidad and Tobago will face off at 8 p.m.



At the end of the preliminary round, the top two teams in each Pool will meet in crossover semifinals.



The winners and third place teams will qualify for the Junior World Cup to be jointly hosted by Malaysia and Singapore next year.
