Winston Thompson wins fourth title

Jamaican rider Winston Thompson won his fourth jockeys’ title in five years at the northeastern United States racetrack at Suffolk Downs.



Thompson was crowned champions at the weekend after finishing the season with 101 winners.



He finished 11 wins ahead of main challenger David Amiss.



Thompson missed out on a fourth consecutive title last year because of injury.
