Jamaica’s Sunshine girls defeat T&T

Jamaica defeated Trinidad and Tobago 59 to 30 in the opening game of the National Commercial Bank Sunshine Savers Tri-nation series last night at the National Indoor Sports Complex.



The Jamaicans led 17 to 8 after the first quarter, 25 to 20 at the end of the second quarter and 42 to 25 at the end of the third quarter.



For Jamaica, Simone Forbes scored 25 goals from 29 attempts and Romelda Aiken had 15 from 19.



Janelle Barker was the leading scorer for T&T with 19 goals from 25 attempts.
