Windies women beat Sri Lanka

West Indies Women today completed a 13-run victory over Sri Lanka Women in the fourth match of their five-match One-Day International series at the Premadasa Stadium in Sri Lanka.



Sri Lanka Women were dismissed for 157 off 46 point 2 overs, chasing a target of 171 for victory.



Kirbyina Alexander, two for 15, and Shanel Daley, two for 30, were the most successful bowlers for West Indies women.



Earlier, West Indies Women were dismissed for 170 off 49 point two overs. Stacy-Ann King top scored for the Caribbean side with 39 runs. Deandra Dotting chipped in with 34 and Merissa Aguilleira 20.



Chamari Kumarihami was the best Sri Lankan bowler with three for 23.



The victory means that the five-match series is now level 2-all with the final match to be contested tomorrow at the same venue.
