Knights defeat bulls

Urban Knights retained the KFC National Basketball title last night following a nail-biting 62-61 victory over Port Royal Bulls in the deciding game of the best-of-three finals at the National Stadium Court.
Urban Knights took the series 2-1. They won the opening game 84 to 78 last Thursday and Port Royal Bulls forced the deciding game following a close 60 to 56 victory on Sunday.
Javon Bailey with 18 points and eight rebounds scored most goals for Urban Knights, while Andrew Whilby got 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Port Royal Bulls’ Dovian Wade scored a game high 23 points.
For the victory, Urban Knights won $150,000, while the Port Royal Bulls walked away with $100,000.
