St Vincent airport to be completed next year
Vincentian Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves, says the EC$652 million international airport at Argyle will be completed by this time next year.
He says he has been advised that the physical work should all be completed and he has dismissed critics who were in opposition to the project that began five years ago.
Gonsalves says the external and internal walling of the terminal building are complete but there are on-going works in several other areas, which should be completed by October.
The government has been appealing to friendly governments as well as regional and international financial institutions to assist in the airport project.
