Portmore United Digicel champions
Defending champions Portmore United are sole leaders of the Digicel Premier League after Harbour View went down 1-0 to fourth-place Boys Town at Harbour View Mini Stadium in a late game last night.
The two were locked atop the standings with 34 points, going into yesterday’s round of matches.
However, Portmore United defeated Sporting Central Academy 1-0 at Brancourt in Clarendon to move to 37 points, while Harbour View remain on 34 points for joint second-place with Tivoli Gardens which beat Waterhouse 1-0 at Waterhouse Mini Stadium.
In other games yesterday, Meadhaven beat St George’s 1-0 at Constant Spring field, Arnett Gardens edged 10-man Reno 2-1 at Frome Sports Complex in Westmoreland, while Rivoli United and Village United battled to a 2-2 draw at Prison Oval in Spanish Town.
