Two Jamaicans arrested in St Lucia
Two Jamaicans have been arrested in St Lucia following a major drug bust there on Wednesday.
They have been identified as 36-year-old Emile Rowe and 26-year-old David Chin.
According to the Caribbean Media Corporation, the men have been charged with possession of a controlled drug.
The St Lucian Police reports that members of its Drug and Special Services unit went to an apartment that was allegedly occupied by Rowe and Chin in the community of Gros Islet.
The police say during a search they recovered six slabs and two parcels containing a substance believed to be cocaine.
It’s reported that the substance was also found in four plastic bags hidden in suitcases.
