AC Milan playmaker Kaka has decided to stay with the Italian Club, ending talks of a record-breaking transfer from Manchester City.

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi said Kaka had rejected City’s offer, which would have make him the best-paid player in football.

Shortly after Berlusconi’s comments, City issued a statement confirming it had ended negotiations with the Italian club over the transfer.

City’s bid for Kaka was said to be 100 million pounds.
