Bahamas police say they have foiled an attempt to smuggle drugs into the country after seizing US$10,000 worth of drugs at the Linden Pindling International Airport (LIPA) on Thursday.
Yesterday, they reported that they intercepted a suspicious luggage that arrived on board a Caribbean Airline flight from Jamaica.
According to the authorities 10 pounds of marijuana was discovered.
However, they say no one has been arrested in connection with the seizure.
