The former Cuban leader, Fidel Castro, is insisting that the island’s current president should not to be disturbed by his illness or his eventual death.

Fidel Castro said he’s doing well.

However he does not expect to continue enjoying good health by the end of the first term of US President Barack Obama.

Mr Castro met with the visiting Argentine leader this week, breaking a month long silence that fuelled speculation that he was close to death.

Meanwhile, Mr. Castro said he’s satisfied with Obama’s decision to close the prison camp at the American base at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.
