Rawl Lewis has quit as Windward Islands captain following his side’s heavy defeat to Trinidad and Tobago, in their third round regional four-day match.

The experienced all-rounder made the announcement following the Windwards’ 166-run loss at Guaracara Park, their second defeat in the tournament.

The Windwards started the tournament positively when they beat Guyana by an innings and 147 runs in Grenada.

Since then Windwards have struggled, losing their second round match to Barbados by an innings and 66 runs, before crashing to T&T.
