Zimbabwe cholera outbreak crisis

The death toll from the cholera outbreak in Zimbabwe has now passed the 3,000 mark.



According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), a total of 3,028 28 people have died from the cholera outbreak, while 57,702 have been affected since August.



The latest figures represent an increase of more than 1,000 deaths in the past 15 days in the country.



The epidemic of the water-borne disease has been fuelled by the collapse of Zimbabwe\'s water, sanitation and health systems.
