The Turks and Caicos Islands premier Michael Misick is facing more pressure after his brother admitted channeling more than $1 million in political gifts through his legal practice.
His brother is also his attorney.
Lawyer Chal Misick reportedly told a commission of inquiry into Government corruption, that he handled sums of cash up to half a million dollars just a month before the 2007 general election.
Senior counsel to the proceedings Alex Milne said the money could be construed as bribes because it had not been passed directly to Mr. Misick\'s ruling Party.
Works Minister Jeffrey Hall is scheduled to appear before the commission today.
