Lumsden, Williams face off
Captain Clifton Lumsden and former national player Ajani Williams will run for president of the Jamaica Amateur Basketball Association on Sunday.
The Annual General Meeting will take place at Alhambra Inn, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The association will have a new president for the first time in six years, as Marland Nattie will not contest the election.
Captain Lumsden, who serves as vice president on the current administration, has announced his team.
His team includes newcomers Vernon Derby, director Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme, Wade Howell of Digicel, Father Ken Richards and Carole Beckford.
Also included are Winston Harvey, who served as president of the association for several years and is now honorary secretary, Kevin Alexander of Urban Knights and Kenneth Walker of St. Georges Slayers.
Williams has not announced his team as yet.
