Special Olympic team departs for Winter Games

A 23-member Jamaica Special Olympics delegation departed yesterday to participate in the World Winter Games.
The Games will take place in Boise, Idaho, United States from February 7 to 13.
Jamaica will only participate in two disciplines, floor hockey and roller-skating.
Jamaica won seven medals including four gold, one silver and two bronze at the last tournament, which was held in Japan in 2005.
