West Indies resumes batting

West Indies will resume this morning on 55 for one replying to England’s first innings total of 566 for nine declared in the third Test at the Antigua Recreation Ground.
Steve Harmison grabbed the key wicket of West Indies captain Chris Gayle for 30 on yesterday’s second day.
The batsmen at the crease are Devon Smith on 10 and night watchman Darren Powell on 2.
Paul Collingwood highlighted yesterday’s second day with 113, his eighth test century and helped England stretch their overnight lead of 301 for three to 566 for nine.
Kevin Pietersen, 51, Matt Prior, 39, and Stuart Broad, 44, all shared half-century stands with Collingwood.
Fidel Edwards, two for 75 and Jerome Taylor, two for 73 were the best of the West Indies bowlers.
