Jamaica will tackle Mexico in an Under-20 friendly football match this evening at the Ferdie Neita Park in Portmore, beginning at 7 p.m.

Both teams are preparing for the March 6 to 15 CONCACAF Finals in Trinidad and Tobago. That tournament will qualify four teams to the FIFA Under 20 World Championships in Egypt from September 25 to October 16.

The match will represent the young Reggae Boyz’ third friendly game ahead of the CONCACAF Finals in T&T.

Costa Rica, which are also preparing for the CONCACAF Finals, edged Jamaica 1-0 on Saturday at the Brancourt field in Clarendon, to clinch their two-match warm-up series.

The team had battled to a goalless draw in the first game last Thursday at Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex.
