Jamaican central defender Claude Davis will remain at Crystal Palace for the remainder of the season after the club agreed to extend a loan from their English League Championship rivals Derby County.

The 29 year old signed the contract after the two clubs agreed an extension to his initial one-month contract.

Davis had signed for Palace on an initial one-month loan on February 2 but had to wait until February 17 to make his full debut in a 3-1 victory over Plymouth.

Crystal Palace are currently 14th in the standings with 43 points, 21 adrift of leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers.
