2009 season opens Saturday

The Jamaica Volleyball Association will open its 2009 Beach Volleyball season on Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. at the newly established UWI Beach facility.
The competition is open to all persons, but only the first 12 teams to register will be allowed to compete.
Teams will be competing for cash, trophies, medals and gift packages.
The tournament serves as preparation for the 2009 North, Central America and the Caribbean Beach Volleyball Circuit.
Jamaica will host one leg of that tournament in June.
