Australia’s Under-21 netballers are now travelling to the Caribbean where they will face Jamaica in a three-match series that the two nations are using as warm-up for the World Youth Netball Championships this summer.

The World Championships will take place in the Cook Islands from August 11 to 19.

Australia will be without the services of injured star mid-court player and captain Madison Browne, who will be replaced by Josie Janz.

The matches against the Jamaica Under-21s are slated for the GC Foster College in Spanish Town next week Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Jamaica, who were runners-up to Australia at the 2000 Championships in Wales, slipped to fourth place at the last Championships in Florida four years ago behind champions New Zealand, England and Australia.
