Shiv named WIPA player of the year

Star batsman, Shivnarine Chanderpaul last night won the West Indies Players’ Association’s, WIPA International Cricketer of the Year award for the second successive year.
Chanderpaul also won the Test Player of the Year honour during WIPA’s awards ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Trinidad.
The One Day International Player of the Year title went to West Indies and Jamaica captain Chris Gayle, while the Female Cricketer of the Year was Jamaica’s Stafanie Taylor.
