Papine defeat Wolmers

Papine High defeated Wolmers 3-nil yesterday in a boys’ game at the Mona Hockey turf to retain the lead in Zone ‘A’ of the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/Jamaica Hockey Federation Under-16 league.



Following the victory, Papine moved to six points, two ahead of St Andrew Technical High School on four, while Excelsior, Tivoli and Wolmers are on a point each.



In the girls’ section, the Immaculate Conception, Campion College game ended goalless, while Excelsior High and Queens also played to a goalless draw.



The competition continues this afternoon with two games.



At 1:30, Munro College and Mona High face off in a Zone ‘B’ boys’ game, while at 2:30, St. Andrew High meet St. Hughs in a Zone ‘B’ girls’ match.
