Pakistan fielding coach in land scam

The police have arrested Pakistan fielding coach Ijaz Ahmed today over an alleged land scam.



The 40-year-old former test cricketer is accused of writing checks to two property dealers that bounced and were worth more than US$130,000.



Ahmed played 60 tests and scored 3,315 runs before retiring in 2001.



He was also a member of Pakistan\'s World Cup-winning squad in 1992 and made 6,564 runs in 250 one-day internationals.
