St Andrew captures hockey title

St Andrew High yesterday captured the ISSA/Jamaica Hockey Federation’s Under-16 girls’ title following a 3-0 penalty stroke victory over Excelsior at the Mona field.
The teams had played to a goalless draw after regulation and extra-time.
Earlier, Papine High defeated Alpha Academy 4-0 for third place.
The Under-14 competition will begin next month with a one-day rally.
