Fresh earthquake aftershocks have rattled central Italy, killing at least one more person and hampering the search for survivors.
The latest tremor struck in L\'Aquila, where a 6.2 quake hit on Monday.
The death toll from that earthquake has increased to 260, up from the 150 first reported on Monday.
Another 100 people are reported to be in serious condition and some 20,000 people are now homeless.
Officials say a mass state funeral and national day of mourning will be held on Friday.
The first of the funerals for the victims of the earthquake is being held today outside L\'Aquila for safety reasons.
