Eltham High win Grace Shield

Defending champions Eltham High are well poised to win a record fifth consecutive ISSA/Grace Shield cricket title.



St Catherine rivals, Innswood High batting a second time after conceding a big first innings lead of 180 were 113 for four at Sports Time on today’s last day of the three-day final at Melbourne Oval.



They were set a victory target of 503.



Earlier, Eltham High, who won the crucial first innings points on yesterday’s second day were bowled out for 322 after resuming on 150 for one.



Kavin Bonner top scored for Eltham High with 72. Jervin Gordon 54, Joseph Dennie 45 and Romeo Dunca 41 supported him.



Bowling for Innswood High, Marshall Marsh ended with three for 40 and Andra Hendra two for 49.
