Ricketts wins Player-of-the-Week Award

Jamaican goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts has won the Player-of-the-Week award after his US Major League Soccer debut for the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday.
Ricketts got the award after an outstanding display in LA Galaxy’s goal less draw with Chivas USA at tmarhe Home Depot Centre.
The 31-year-old Ricketts, recruited late last year by coach Bruce Arena, had five saves and withstood 12 shots from Chivas USA.
He also produced two vital saves in stoppage time including a low hard drive from Chivas USA midfielder Sacha Kljestan.
